Support the School

We teach, inspire, and lead because of caring people like you.

Join our alumni and friends in giving to the School of Architecture.  You’ll reach into every corner of the school, supporting scholarships, research, alumni events, infrastructure, and outreach.  Whatever your passion, there’s a way to express it through giving, and your gift may offer estate-planning or tax advantages.

Outright Gifts

An outright gift transfers an asset directly to the School of Architecture. It may be made with cash, securities, stock, real estate or personal property, and it benefits the school immediately.

Estate and Planned Giving

Planned giving is an exciting way to fulfill philanthropic goals, because it provides not only a gift in support of the School of Architecture, but also financial and tax benefits to the donor and his or her family.

Beneficiary Designation

You can make the UH Foundation, for the benefit of the School of Architecture, the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or a qualified retirement plan such as an IRA, a 401(k), or a 403(b).

Outright and Deferred Gift Combination

A combination of an outright gift and deferred gift enables you to start or fully endow a program or scholarship during your lifetime, and make a provision in your will or revocable living trust, or through a life-income plan, to add significantly to the endowment after you pass away.
